Why Give?

In the United States, 15 million children, or 26% of all children, go unsupervised every day. (Afterschool Alliance, America After 3PM, 2009)

MRC-Duluth has a solid track record of attracting teenagers from all over our community.

Teens who do not participate in after school programs are three times more likely to use drugs and three times more likely to skip class.

The MRC is open after school from 4:00 to 6:00 every Tuesday and Thursday.

Students must attend a full day of school in order to attend the MRC.

In the 2012, the Music Resource Center:

provided music education, mentoring, and supervision to 46 students,

provided music education, mentoring, and supervision to 34 students eligible for free and reduced-lunch,

provided 576 lessons on music, instrumental techniques, and audio engineering, and

facilitated 48 recording sessions.

You can give online now and help keep this vital program running in Duluth!
